How much is this going to cost?

Most companies either charge you on an hourly rate or a “flat rate” fixed cost to do your repair. You are at the mercy of those companies who charge you by the hour because the longer the job takes the more money they make – and believe me – they are in no rush.
We offer a “fair rate.” When you call Cody & Sons we will send a professional service tech, not a salesman, to diagnose and price your situation in person. We will give you an upfront estimate based upon your particular situation.

Do you give free estimates?

We do and we don’t. If you call us out and you need us to replace, install or repair something that we diagnose by sight we will give a free estimate. If we have to involve any equipment to diagnose a more difficult problem, then we do charge a small fee. If you accept our estimate, this fee will be deducted from the cost of your service.

Why can’t you just give me a price over the phone?

It is often hard to give a correct price without a visual assessment of your situation. For this reason we will send a well-trained service tech who knows every aspect of your job and can see what needs to be done. He will offer you the best solution for your situation at a fair rate price.

Most companies just try to upsell me on things I do not need – is this the way you operate?

You can rest assured the answer to this is NO. All of our technicians are trained professionals that follow our company’s code of ethics and we do not believe in wasting your time with unnecessary upselling. From the moment you call our office, our goal is to make sure you receive our best service in all areas of our business. Our goal is to earn a lifetime customer who will hopefully tell others about the great experience they received with Cody & Sons.
